Understanding local conflicts – using development opportunities

Introducing learning modules on conflict research at the Universities in the Caucasus and Central Asia

The central task of the project is to design a learning course consisting of four modules titled “Understanding local conflicts – using development opportunities”, which will be further introduced at two pilot Universities in the Caucasus and Central Asia: the Universities in Nalchik (the North Caucasus, Russia) and in Osh (Fergana Valley, Kyrgyzstan).  The learning modules are to be developed in cooperation with partners in the region.

The goal of the project is the long-term establishment of the course “Understanding local conflicts – using development opportunities” within the curricula of the institutions involved.
